The prophet Isaiah once said: “Seek the Lord while he may be found” (Isaiah 55:6).It means that He can truly be found! Another time he also proclaimed, “I did not say to the seed of Jacob, ‘Seek me in vain.” (45:19)
When we begin to truly strive to know Christ and the power of His resurrection, this hunger is promised to be fulfilled. If God Himself gave this command to the simple and spiritually dead people of that time, then surely, there is a path to get to know the Lord for you. With much assurance, I want to encourage all who are seeking the face of God: Do not look at any hindrances that you may face on the road. If you are sincere in your desire to find the Lord, the Holy Spirit will immeasurably meet past your expectations! He is the God who answers! He is the one who is faithful in His promises. He will open the doors that are closed; He will be able to straighten the crooked paths in your life, and give you victory over all sin and temptation! He transforms any character; makes the mountains as valleys; calls the impossible, the possible; and brings all fullness into your life! Your eyes will truly be able to see our King in all His beauty!
I believe that the Lord wants to ignite His church with Pentecost. It will be the same fire of love and ministry in the power of the Holy Spirit. I can see by faith the flame of Revival sweeping through the nations!
I don’t think that we need to go through something ‘special’ or ‘unusual’ to know and experience the Grace of God that was in the first Church. Many crowds saw Jesus perform miracles and wonders yet many still didn’t believe Him. All that is necessary to have this thirst quenched is to simply fall in love with Jesus! When we seek Him, live by Him, breathe by Him, and give ourselves to Him, He makes out of us vessels able to be used greatly by Him.
