GOD’S WILL FOR THE BELIEVER

This post is also available in: Russian

This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day (Jn. 6:39). Besides His mission of redeeming mankind, Christ had another mission to accomplish, a mission that was equally important. However, it would only apply to those who believe in Jesus as the Savior of the world. Thus, if you fall into the category of those who have accepted His Son as Lord and Savior then the promises are yours. The will of the Father is to keep you unto eternal life. By His grace, God had His Son carry out a mission of crucial importance – to help you keep your faith. God was concerned for those who would come to believe in Jesus; for those who would endure pain and suffering. And by enduring it, subsequently, not shipwreck their faith. God saw to it that all those who believe in Him may not perish, but make it to eternity. I would like to point out that Jesus isn’t talking about the whole world, but only those whom the Father gave to Him – the believers. God foresaw those that would accept Christ and follow His teachings, those who would face many trials. They will face temptations and attacks from the devil. They will be misunderstood by their peers and by family. They will be mocked and ridiculed in schools, universities; their fellow peers will reject them, co-workers will look at them and shake their heads. Now, the Lord saw that many women would be mistreated, and deserted by their husbands on account of their faith – and vice versa. He saw the suffering and pain of children who will feel misunderstood, rejected, or even be attacked by their parents. For many believers, privileges, opportunities and services will be taken away. They will be cited and dragged into court. Meanwhile, others will be assaulted and scorned by the world. Still others will be despised, betrayed, and killed like criminals. However, the will of the Father is to simply ensure that in the midst of trials His children would not grow weak in faith. […]

RIVER OF LIVING WATER

This post is also available in: Russian

In In Jesus Christ we get forgiveness of sin, and we get sanctification of our spirit, soul and body, and upon that we get the gift of the Holy Ghost that Jesus promised to His disciples, the promise of the Father. All this we get through the atonement. Hallelujah! The prophet said that He had borne our griefs and carried our sorrows. He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him and with His stripes we are healed. So we get healing, health, salvation, joy, life—everything in Jesus. Glory to God! There are many wells today, but they are dry. There are many hungry souls today that are empty. But let us come to Jesus and take Him at His Word and we will find wells of salvation, and be able to draw waters out of the well of salvation, for Jesus is that well. At this time Jesus was weary from a long journey, and He sat on the well in Samaria, and a woman came to draw water. He asked her for a drink. She answered, “How is it that thou being a Jew askest drink of me who am a woman of Samaria, for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans?” Jesus said, “If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, give me to drink, thou wouldest have asked of Him and He would have given thee living water.” O, how sweet it was to see Jesus, the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world, that great sacrifice that God had given to a lost, dying and benighted world, sitting on the well and talking with the woman; so gentle, so meek and so kind that it gave her an appetite to talk further with Him, until He got into her secret and uncovered her life. Then she was pricked in her heart, confessed her sins and received pardon, cleansing from fornication and adultery, was washed from stain and guilt of sin and was made a child of God, and above all, received the well of salvation in her heart. It was so sweet and joyful and good. Her heart was so filled with love that she felt she could take in a whole lost world. So she ran away with a well of salvation and left the old water pot on the well. How true it is in this day, when we get the baptism with the Holy Spirit, we have something to tell, and it is that the blood of Jesus Christ cleanseth from all sin. The baptism with the Holy Ghost gives us power to testify to a risen, resurrected Savior. Our affections are in Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. How I worship Him today! How I praise Him for the all-cleansing blood.      […]

THE WAY BACK TO THE SANCTUARY

This post is also available in: Russian

Then he brought me back to the outer gate of the sanctuary…. (Ez. 44: 1) The Old Testament sanctuary was given to the people of Israel, as the place where God revealed his will and glory. Spiritual service could not be imagined without the sanctuary. Even during the wanderings of the Jews in the desert, God had commanded them that every time they stopped at a certain place the tabernacle had to be located in the center of the camp. This shows that God wants to be the center of our lives. His presence and His glory should the most important thing in our lives. Our whole life, all the goals that we set for ourselves, all of our daily activities in which we are involved, must revolve around the presence of God. The sanctuary was the place where the Lord revealed himself to those who sincerely sot to know Him. David says that he saw God’s power and glory in the sanctuary. Moreover, he says to God: “I have seen thee in the sanctuary” (Ps. 62:3). It was there that the Lord revealed himself not only to great kings, prophets and priests who were anointed, but also to simple unnoticeable people. That’s why God while showing Ezekiel numerous revelations and explaining their meanings to him, is leading the prophet back to the sanctuary to give him even greater knowledge of Gods glory. I believe that the Spirit of God wants to do the same thing in our lives. Following the Lord in our Christian walk, we are often become too consumed by different activities. At the level of individual churches and whole denominations, we very actively plan numerous projects. We designed the whole structure of how to effectively spread the gospel on earth. Today, we have so many conferences and seminars going on, about various topics of Christian life, that it is simply impossible to keep up with them. We are so dedicated to all kinds of projects, that we no longer have time for the sanctuary. We are distracted by deeds; we are no longer clothed with the power of God. We rush forward, leaving the presence of God behind us. We are well educated in doing God’s work in the flesh, and therefore our preaching became enticing words of man’s wisdom, but not in demonstration of the Spirit and power. That is why, despite all our efforts, God’s people immerse deeper, and deeper into carelessness and works of vanity. But the time has come when God wants to guide His children BACK TO THE SANCTUARY! […]
